RELIEF
CLIMATE : The nature of land influences the type of vegetation.The fertile level is generally devoted to agriculture.The undulating and rough terrain are areas where grasslands and woodlands develop.
SOIL : Different types of soils provide basis of different types of vegetation.The sandy soil of the desert support cactus and thorny bushes while wet, marshy and delta soils support mangrove and delta vegetation.

CLIMATE
TEMPERATURE : The character and extend of vegetation are mainly determined by temperature along with humidity in the air,precipitation and soil. The fall in temperature affects the types of vegetation and its growth and changes if from tropical to subtropical temperate and alpine vegetation.
PHOTOPERIOD (SUNLIGHT) : Due to longer of sunlight , trees grow faster in summer.
PRECIPITATION : Areas of heavy rainfall have more dense vegetation as compared to other areas of less rainfall.
