Solution:
The major findings at the Dholavira site were:
Mansabdari system
The Mansabdari system was an administration reform, which was introduced by the Mughals. In this system, the military officers were given the title Mansabs.
The military officers who held the position of Mansab were called Mansabdars.
The position of the Mansabdars was determined by the Zat (rank and salary) and Sawar (the strength of horses they had).
Jagirdari system
The Jagirdari system was an administration reform introduced by the Mughals in which the Mughals gave lands ‘jagir’ to the Mansabdars in place of salary.
The officers who were given the possession right of these lands or jagirs were called jagirdars.
The position of jagirdars was not hereditary. They held the power to collect revenue from their assigned area of land.
