Solution
a) Synapsis:- Synapsis is basically pairing of two homologous chromosomes that occurs during meiosis.
b) Bivalent:- Bivalent is the association of a pair of homologous chromosomes held together by atleast one DNA crossover.
c) Chiasmata:- Chiasmata is point of attachment at which chromosomes remain in contact during the first metaphase of meiosis, and at which crossing over and exchange of genetic material occur between the strands.
