(a) The sperm duct (vas-deferens) from each testis travels upward into the abdomen passing through the inguinal canal. The inguinal canal allows the descent of testes along with their ducts, blood vessels, nerves, etc.
(b) Prostate gland pours an alkaline secretion into the semen as it passes through the urethra.
(c) Testes produce sperms and hormones.
(d) Function of the Ovaries
1. They produce mature ova by a process called oogenesis.
2. They discharge the mature ova by a process called ovulation.
3. They secrete the hormones oestrogen, progesterone and relaxin.
(e) The oviduct picks up and transports the released ovum into the uterus.
