Frederic Sorrieu expressed his dream of a world wide democratic and social republic through four lithographic prints. The main features of these prints were
1. In the first print, he showed people different European nationalities paying homage to the ideals of freedom and the French Republic.
2. In the second print, he shows the downfall of despotic rulers like Louis XVI and Napoleon as well as the fall of feudalism.
3. The third print celebrates and pays homage to the three French revolutions (1789, 1830 and 1848).
4. The fourth print shows Sorrieu's vision of a world of free trade without any customs barriers.
