The narrator was driving when he saw a man waving a distress signal, his car parked off the road. He got out of his car to help. He was attacked with a club. Sensing the blow, the narrator swerved and was hit on his right shoulder. He took out his knife in self-defense. Seeing it, the man decided to attack with his pistol kept inside his jacket. The leather strap of his club prevented smooth movement. In panic, he ran into the knife. He slumped to the ground due to cardiac arrest and died.
