• Shiva Kashid and Bajiprabhu Deshpande helped Shivaji Maharaj escape Panhalagad and safely reach Vishalgad.
• Murarbaji Deshpande defended the Purandar Fort, and Tanaji Malusare laid down his life during the conquest of Sinhagad.
• Hiroji Farjand and Madari Meheter faced grave danger to make sure Shivaji escaped from Agra unscathed.
