Tooth:
The strongest part in the human body is the tooth. It is made up of proteins (collagen) and minerals (calcium).
Adults have 32 teeth, 8 incisors, 4 canines, 8 premolars and 12 molars.
The tooth has three layers - enamel, dentine, and pulp cavity.
Enamel
: It is the outermost hardest layer of the tooth. It Helps in absorbing the pressure from eating.
Dentine
: It is the middle layer of the tooth. The primary function of the dentine is to support the structure of enamel
Pulp cavity
: It is the innermost layer consisting of blood vessels and nerve endings.
