Describe two type of manures.

Two types of manures are as discussed below:-

• Animal manure:
  

Animal manure is mainly composed of faeces. There are two types of animal manure which are farmyard manure or farm slurry. Farmyard manure consists of plants materials as bedding for animals which has absorbed faeces and urine. In slurry, instead of bedding concrete or slats are used.

• Green manure:
  

Green manure is a fertilizer where the specific plants are grown and plowed under the soil intentionally to enrich the soil. It is used both domestically and industrially because it nourishes soil by releasing nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus which are great value nutrients for crops. Production or yield of crops can be increased using green manure. It can also be used to prevent soil erosion, increase water holding capacity and improve the soil marginally.
