Synovial joint is a joint between two bones. It consists of a cartilage lined cavity filled with synovial fluid. It is very flexible type of joint. The synovial fluid is covered by synovial membrane. The synovial fluid acts as lubricating cushion between the two bones and allows the gliding movement past one another.
