There are basically four modes of asexual reproduction in animals, namely budding, fission, fragmentation and parthenogenesis. In budding, organism starts bulging out. It grows to its full size and then develops into the new individual. In fission, the cell divides into two exact halves. Each daughter cell then divides into a mature individual. In fragmentation, the segment of an organism detaches and develops into a new organism. In parthenogenesis, the unfertilized egg develops into the new organism.
