Archaebacteria is a group of primitive prokaryotes, which were the earliest organisms to have appeared on the earth. They are found near the hot geysers and hot air vents since they evolved when the Earth was extremely hot. Eubacteria, known as "true bacteria," are prokaryotic (lacking nucleus) cells that are very common in human daily life, encounter many more times than the archaebacteria. A division of microorganisms that are related to the bacteria but are capable of photosynthesis are called cyanobacteria.
