2x3y=2(2)
x2y=8(3)

By solving (1) and (3)
3xy=3,x+2y=8
6x2y=6,x+2y=8
7x=14x=2,y=3
Solving (2) and (3)
2x3y=2,2x+4y=16
7y=14y=2,x=4
Area of ABC=Area of ABD-Area of ACD
=12[(3)(7)]12×(2)×(7)=72
