The correct option is A 200 μC
At steady state, there is no current in capacitor.
2 Ω and 10 Ω are in series. There equivalent resistance is 12 Ω. This 12 Ω is in parallel with 4 Ω and there combined resistance is 12×4(12+4). This resistance is in series with 6 Ω. Therefore, current drawn from battery
i=VR=⎜ ⎜ ⎜726+12×412+4⎟ ⎟ ⎟=8 A


Current in 10 Ω resistor is
i=(44+12)8=2 A
PD across capacitor, V=iR=2×10=20 V
Charge on the capacitor, q=CV
q=10×20=200 μC.
