Diameter of a cone = d = 12 cm
Radius of a cone =d2 = 6 cm

Lets draw a cone of given dimensions.

Radius =r=6 cm and height =h=8 cm.
Slant height =l=r2+h2
Slant height =l=62+82
=36+64

=10×10
