1. Beam Mechanism :


Internal work done = External work done

Mpθ+Mp(θ+θ)+Mpθ=80×(4×θ)
=Mp=80 KNm

2. Sway Mechanism :



Internal work done = External work done
Mpθ+Mpθ+Mpθ=60×(8×θ)

Mp=160 KNm

3. Combined Mechanism :

Internal work done = External work done

Mpθ+Mp(θ+θ)+Mp(θ+θ)=80×(4×θ)+60×(8×θ)
