ρ= Resisivity of copper =1.7×103Ωm
convertung all measures into metres.
L=1km=1000m=103m
d=0.5mm=0.5×103m
If r is the radius of the wire then, its area of cross-section
A=πr2
A=π×(d2)2
=π4(0.5×103)2m2
R=ρLA=1.7×103Ωm×(103m)0.2×103m2=85Ω
