The correct option is D Both x=a,b are the solutions of the equation
Simplifying, we get
xa+bx=1+ba
Substituting x=a, we get
1+ba=1+ba
Hence LHS=RHS
Substituting x=b
we get
ba+1=1+ba
Hence LHS=RHS
Thus both are solutions to the given equation.
