Solution

No. of apples x
Cost of 1 apple =Rs 5
Total cost of x apple =Rs 5x
Cost of 1 banana =Rs 2
Total cost of x banana =Rs 2x
He make 20% profit on apple,
profit =profit%100xC.P of apples
=20100×5x=100100x=x
He make 5% loss on banana
Loss =Loss%100×C.P of banana
=5100×2x=10100x=Rs x10
Total Profit =360
xx10=360
9x10=360; x=40×10
