- Take to sand pits and add equal soil in them.
-Add equal amount of humus in both.
- Now, in one pit bury a plastic bag while a jute bag in other.
- After few days dig both the pits.

Observation: The plastic bag is as it is while jute bag is degraded.

Conclusion: This shows that organic waste is bio-degredable while plastic is not.
