We have,
$\frac{2}{5} + \frac{3}{7} = \frac{29}{x}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{14 + 15}{35} = \frac{29}{x} [L . C . M o f 5 & 7 = 35]$

$\Rightarrow \frac{29}{35} = \frac{29}{x} [c a n c l e 29 b o t h s i d e s]$
$∴ x = 35$
