35 of the balls in a box are red. The rest are green and yellow. The ratio of the number of green balls to the number of yellow balls is 5:3. If there are 10 less yellow balls than green balls, how many red balls are there?

The ratio of of the number of green balls to the number of yellow number is 5:3.
Let no. of green balls =5 units and no. of yellow balls =3 units.
Their difference =(53) units =2 units.
2 units =10
1 units =5
Now, total no. of yellow and green balls in the box =(5+3) units =8 units =8×5=40.
These 40 balls are 25 of the total no. of in the box,
So, 25=4015=2035=60

As, 35 of the balls in the box are red. The number of red balls in the box is 60.
