Question

Diagonals of a parallelogram WXYZ intersect each other at point O . If XYZ=135, then what is the measure XWZ and YZW ?
If l(OY)=5 cm then l(WY)=?

Solution

In a parallelogram, diagonal bisect each other
OY=OW=5cm
XYZ+YZW=180 [ interior angles]
135+YZW=180
YZW=45
In a parallelogram, opposite angles are equal
XYZ=XWZ=135
and OY = 5 cm then WY = OY + OW
WY=5+5=10cm [opposite diagonal]
