The $6 V$ battery should be connected between $T_{1}$ and $T_{2}$ with positive terminal on either side(doesn't matter).
But the $1000 V$ battery goes in between the terminals $T_{3}$ and $T_{4}$ with positive on $T_{4}$ terminal since it is the anode so that the electrons are accelerated towards the electron gun.
