Solution

The different types of muscle fibers in human beings are skeletal muscle tissue, smooth muscle tissue, and cardiac muscle tissue.

  1. Skeletal muscle tissue: Skeletal muscle is attached to the bones and is involved in the functioning of different parts of the body and is voluntary in action.
  2. Smooth muscle tissue: Smooth muscle is the muscle tissue that is utilized by different systems for the application of pressure to organs and vessels and is involuntary in action.
  3. Cardiac muscle tissue: Cardiac muscles are the muscle tissue found in the heart, that perform and bring about coordinated contractions, which enable the heart to pump blood throughout the body and is involuntary in action.

Muscles are voluntary and composed of muscle fiber.Muscles are involuntary muscles that are controlled by the autonomous nervous system.Muscles are involuntary.
Muscles are attached to the skeleton and help in its movement. Its function is to stimulate the contractility of the urinary, reproductive, and digestive systems, blood vessels and airways.Through muscles, the heart pumps the blood by cardiac contractions.
Muscle cells are multinucleated.Muscle cells are spindle-shaped with a single nucleus.Muscles are single-celled and with only one nucleus.
They are made up of blood vessels, many elongated mitochondria, and glycogen granules. The actin and myosin filaments are very thin and arranged randomly therefore these are non-striated.The junction joining the ends of the cells are called intercalated discs .Desmosomes attach to the cells.
