Solution

The correct option is B No urea

Dialysis
  • The dialysing fluid does not have urea. When the blood passes through the membranous tube which is permeable to small molecules like urea, and electrolytes and impermeable to proteins, the urea moves from higher concentration to lower concentration i.e. from blood to dialysing fluid.
  • Since the concentration of electrolytes is the same in blood and dialysing fluid, there is no net movement of essential electrolytes from the blood.

Final answer
Option(c)No urea
