Greek philosophers believed that units called ‘spores’ or pansperms were transferred to earth from outer space.

Meteorites from outer space containing spores of life hit the earth transferring these spores to earth.

This resulted in life on earth. Cannot be tested experimentally Does not explain the origin of life only the transference of life
