Did suspension show tyndall effect?how?

Open in App
Solution

Suspension solution - A suspension is a heterogenous mixture in which solvent type of particles sometimes after their introduction settle out of a solvent like process. When the particles are too large and they settle down , they are known as suspension.

Tyndall effect varies in various suspensions which means that if the particles are spread throughout the suspension and they do not settle down the Tyndall effect would be seen provided the size of particle is such that it can scatter light. Hence we may say that the suspensions having large sized particles shows tyndall effect and scatter the rays of light thus the path of light is visible through suspension.
