Phagocytosis is the process of engulfment of solid substances (such as cell debris, dead cell, old cell, ruptured cell, pathogens) by those cells are commonly known as Phagocytic cells includes Macrophages (developed by Monocytes) present in various tissues with different names and some WBC (Monocytes & Neutrophils).
