Water pollination: This pollination is done by water currents. It is called hydrophily.

1. The flowers are very colourful and bright to attract the insects and birds.1. The flowers are of neutral colours mostly.
2. The pollen grain of the flowers is hairy or sticky so that they get stuck on the insects, or birds bodies.2. The pollen is light and sticky so that water currents can carry them and also they can get attached to the stigma which is close to the water surface.
3. The flowers have a nice odour or scent in order to attract the animals or insects.3. These flowers don't exhibit any such scents.
