Lenin's 'April theses'
In April 1917, the Bolshevik leader Vladimir returned to Russia from his exile.
He and the Bolsheviks had opposed the war since 1914.
Now, he felt it was the time for soviets to take over power. So, he promised three things which came to be known as
Lenin's 'April theses'.

Those three things / demands were:

  1. War be brought to a close or end,
  2. Land to be transferred to peasants, and
  3. Banks to be nationalised.
whereas

Tsar Nicholas 2 revolution
Tsar Nicholas II, ruled the Russian empire in 1914, who was an autocratic ruler.
The Tsar could not tolerate any challenge to his authority and his rule was not subject to control or regulation by the Parliament.
Three changes introduced in Russia by Tsar Nicholas II :
  1. Creation of a State Duma of the Russian Empire but with consultative powers only.
  2. Granting of basic rights in October manifesto.
