  2. When a frequency of a forced vibration becomes equal to its natural frequency that condition is called resonance.
  3. The difference between forced vibration and resonance are given below

Force vibration

Resonance

1.Force vibration is produced by an external periodic force of any frequency.

1.Resonance is also produced by an external periodic force whose frequency is equal to the natural frequency of the body.
