Difference between Galileo law of inertia and Newton's firstlaw of motion ? IF both are one and same thing why it is specially called Newtons first law of motion

Galileo just concluded that if a object is at rest, it will remain at rest or if object is in motionit will remain in motion unless external force is applied on it. He don't gave law.However Nweton the it in the form of law known as newton's first law of motion.He gave definition of inertia and force with proof.Regards
