I )a gas is formed at or above the boiling point of a liquid and a vapuor is formed below the boiling point of a liquid
ii)vapour is formed by the process of evaporation but gas is formed by the process of boiling
iii) boiling is a fast process while evapouration is a slow process
iv)vapour is formed below 100degree cecius while gas is formed at or above100 degree celcius
