Lymph Tissue fluid
Found in lymph vessels and lymph nodes. Found in between cells of a tissue.
It has a large number of lymphocytes. It has no cells. Some phagocytic cells of the immune system may be present that may have moved there to fight an infection.
It has sufficient amount of fats. It has no fats.
Its functions include removal of the interstitial tissue fluid from cells, absorption and transport of fatty acids from chyle, and transport of WBCs between the lymph nodes and bones. Its functions include providing a medium for cell to cell communication through hormones etc., for delivering materials to the cells and removal of metabolic wastes.
It has important and active role in immunity. No role in immunity.
