Mansabdari System Iqtadari system
a. Mansabdar constituted the ruling class of the Mughal period. which consolidated the Mughal nobility and the military personnel into a composite class.
Iqtadar system was used by the Delhi Sultans, with the aim of collecting taxes and distributing revenue.The Delhi sultans appointed military commander as governors of territories, the holder of these lands or iqta were called Muqtis,

b. Their rank Rank and salary were determined by a numerical value called zatā€‹ and was given a jagir as part of their salary corresponding to the rank, These mansabdars were also known as jagirdars as they received jagirs as part of their revenue assignment. It was a kind of territorial assignment given to an iqtedar , who used it to distribute among the army. Iqtas were used for maintenance of army, for charitable purposes, for revenue etc.
