difference between MKS CGS and SI unit

MKS is a unit of measurement. MKS stands for Meter, Kilogram and second. In this system of unit mass is given in Kilogram, length in meter and time in second.

SI system signifies seven units to measure various quantities. These units are called base units. The SI system is the International System of units. It is a worldwide accepted metric system.

CGS system stands for Centimeter- Gram- Second system. In CGS system, length is measured in centimeters mass is measured in grams and time is in seconds.
