Difference between nucleoplasm and cytoplasm

The cytoplasm of a cell contains all of the internal contents of that cell including all of the membrane-bound organelles (think endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi body, mitochondira, etc) as well as proteins (enzymes, etc) and everything else outside of the nucleus.
The nucleoplasm is specifically the contents within the membrane that separates the nucleus from the rest of the cell (the nuclear membrane). It contains the DNA as well as all the proteins involved in transcription (not translation which occurs in the cytoplasm) and regulation of gene expression. Certain items can transport or diffuse between the two compartments based on their purpose and function.
