Differences are:-
Physical maps are used to show geographical features where as Political maps are used to show territorial borders.
Physical maps indicate the forms of landscape and water bodies of an area where as Political maps indicate boundaries between entities, like countries, states or continents.
Physical maps use colors like blues, greens and browns to represent rivers, forests, vallies, deserts etc. Political maps generally uses brighter colors to easily distinguish the boundaries.
In a political maps to depict features like mountains and valleys the features are raised or dipped. Whereas, the political map is flat.
