Real Head is the head of the parliament EG: Prime ministers
Chief of ruling government.
He/she has real powers to make important decisions.
All executive and legislative actions are taken by the real head.


Nominal head is the head of the state. Eg: President
Does have any decisive powers.
Only heads, has no decision making powers.
