Difference between: Seed funnel and seed drill

Seed funnel - It is a traditional tool used for sowing seeds in which seed are filled in a funnel. This funnel has piercing ends which places the seeds in the soil. It is a time taking process.

Seed drill - It is quite a modern tool used for sowing the seeds uniformly at a particular depth and distance. This is advanced than seed funnel because it ensures the protection of seeds from being eaten by birds. It saves time.
