Given that

The difference between the diameters of two circles is 6 cm.

Let the diameters of the circles be d1, d2 and their radii be r1, r2 respectively.

Then, d1d2=6 cm

Now, 2r1=d1 and 2r2=d2.

On substituting the values we get:

d1d2=6 cm

2r12r2=6

2(r1r2)=6

(r1r2)=62=3 cm

Hence, the difference between their radii is 3 cm.
