Solution

Dear student,

The differences between loose and dense connective tissues are as follows :

Loose Connective tissue

Dense connective tissue
Less extracellular fibres and more ground substance are present. It is gel-like substance. Extra cellular fibers are present in high density and smaller proportions of ground substance are present.
Types : Areolar, reticular, adipose. Types : Dense regular and dense irregular.
The loose connective tissue can be found beneath the epithelial tissue that lines the internal body surfaces, glands, and around small vessels. The major cell type found in this tissue is fibroblasts. Dense connective tissue is found on the outside of many organs, in the dermis of the skin and submucosa, within various organs as dense irregular connective, and in tendons, ligaments, and aponeuroses as dense regular connective tissue.
It has more vessels. It has less vessels.
