Dear Student, Polysaccharides are complex carbohydrates formed by many smaller monosaccharides. These polysaccharides can be homo or hetero i.e., having only one type of monosaccharide or having more than one type respectively. For eg. Starch, Glycogen and cellulose are homopolysaccharide while hyluronic acid and heparin are heteropolysaccharides. Regards.
