Differentiate among opaque, translucent and transparent meterials, giving one example of each.
Opaque: Materials that do not allow light to pass through them are called opaque materials. e.g. Cardboard.
Translucent: Those materials through which we cannot see clearly and allow partial light to pass through them are called translucent materials, e.g. Butter paper.
Transparent: Those materials through which we can see clearly are called transparent materials, e.g. Glass. They allow almost all light to pass through them.
