Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

Anode is considered as an electrode in which positive current flows and cathode is considered as an electrode in which negative current flows. In electrochemistry where oxidation occurs that part of cell is labelled anode and while where reduction takes place that is labelled as cathode.
