An object is said to be in a circular or circulatory motion if it moves around a fixed point in a circular path. An object is said to be in curvilinear motion if it moves along a curved or circular path.
It is a special type of curvilinear motion in which the distance of the moving object from a fixed point remains constant. Circular motion is type of curvilinear motion.
