Differentiate between classification and tabulation.
1. Classification precedes tabulation, i.e. only after classification, statistical data can be tabulated.
2. In classification, data is arranged into different classes according to similarities and dissimilarities while tabulation is a process of arranging the classified data in rows and columns with suitable heads and subheads.
3. Classification is a statistical analysis, whereas tabulation is a process of presenting data.
