Collateral vascular bundle and concentric vascular bundle

In a collateral vascular bundle xylem and phloem are present on the same radius and the phloem is located on the outer side of the xylem. Whereas in concentric vascular bundle one type of vascular tissue (xylem or phloem) is surrounded by the other. A collateral bundle may be open or closed type whereas a concentric bundle is always closed.
