Corpus callosum

  1. Corpus callosum is present between the right and left cerebral hemispheres in the longitudinal tissue.
  2. It makes the connection between the two cerebral hemisphere

Corpus luteum

  1. The Corpus luteum is the yellow endocrine body formed by the ruptured Graafian follicle.
  2. It is a temporary gland that secretes the progesterone hormone.
  3. This hormone regulates the development of the endometrium(inner layer of the uterus).
  4. Progesterone increases the blood supply in the endometrium.
  5. This hormone regulates the menstrual cycle in the female body.
  6. This hormone inhibits the contraction of the uterine wall.
  7. Progesterone hormone also helps in the implantation of the embryo on the uterine wall.

Corpus luteum

It connects the left and right cerebral hemispheres.

It secretes the progesterone hormone.
